Monticello Artisan Trail

The Monticello Artisan Trail recently launched a new website that you must check out if you are visiting the Charlottesville VA area.  It will take you on a personal journey of discovery on the byways and back roads of Nelson and Albemarle counties.  Artisans involved with the Trail represent studios, galleries, eclectic shops, agri-artisan farms, unique restaurants, lodging amenities and points of interest.  Foxfield Inn is proud to be an Artisan Trail site.

If you are staying with us we will gladly help you find the type of artisan you are interested in - whether it be pottery, painting, photography, basket weaving, quilting or sculptures.   If you are more interested in the agri-artisan farms and vineyards there are numerous farms, wineries, breweries and orchards to visit. There are craft related venues and points of interest that will keep you busy for several days.  While you are driving along the trail to the next artisan you will enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Blue Ridge Mountains and valleys.
