When I was a child, I had a bulletin board above my desk that I plastered with memorabilia - postcards, friendship bracelets, and ribbons from sporting events. Over time, it became inundated with the glossy pages of National Geographic representing places I'd love to visit.
Today's digital equivalent of my childhood bulletin board is Pinterest, and beginning this month, Foxfield Inn proudly introduces our My FoxField Trip virtual concierge program. Let us give you insider tips for your next visit to Charlottesville, Virginia and help you plan the getaway of your dreams. Together, we will collect and share information with you that will inspire your next trip to our area.
Planning your own FoxField Trip is free and simple! Here's how it works:
Step 1. Log in to Pinterest and create a board called My FoxField Trip. (If you are new to Pinterest, click here for an overview to help you get started). In the board description, write a brief statement about the time of year you hope to travel and the type of trip you'd like to take, whether your interests lie in food, wine, history, the outdoors, shopping, or beyond.
Step 2. Invite us, Foxfield Inn, to be a collaborator on your board. Simply edit your My FoxField Trip board and type Foxfield Inn where it asks "Who can add pins?"
Step 3. Browse Pinterest and the internet to pin images, links, and videos to your board, indicating places you might like to visit and things you might like to do in Charlottesville. We'll pin links to your board, too, to show you the highlights and hidden gems of Charlottesville and the surrounding area. Your trip will be planned before you know it!

Whether you're visiting Charlottesville for the first time or the twenty-first time, let our My FoxField Trip program help you make new memories, no permission slip necessary. Happy pinning! We look forward to meeting you soon.
